It is against the whole notion of Islam too to be honest. But that is beside the point. Allow me to retort with my usual red tinted glasses. I am a student of Richard McNamara school of diplomacy. I always try to counter attacks by people by FIRST understanding their points of view. try putting myself in THOSE blog owners’ shoes and see why they posted those entries

upon reading those blogs I can only come up with one conclusion. they did it for the LULZ. I don’t think this adibah is even a real person. I am not sure if you are up to date with the latest Malaysian political scene but there are rumours floating about that THESE SITES are created to stir hatred and unrest between the various Malaysian ethnic groups. If a racial war erupted the BN government can impose martial law and thus cementing their place as leaders for a few more years. New stringent laws will be passed to shackle freedom of speech. This will mean that the cyber law that guarantee free speech in Malaysia will be amended to curb anti government speak. In layman’s term , the racial war will be used as an excuse to stop people like rokcybru, jeffooi,tun mahathir,RPK , mahaguru58,mahendran, aniletto and hishamuddin rais from criticizing the government. THEY KNOW that Malays are sensitive and they are betting that we will be the one getting our panties in a bunch.

Last week someone from MIC “stumbled upon” a blog that make fun of the Indian and Hindus in Malaysia. How convenient that a PUTERA MIC person accidentally FOUND this site. Now in the Malaysian Indian community they wanted this man arrested.

See any similarities and parallels with how WE MUSLIMS react to the blogs you mentioned above?

you see US MALAYS and MUSLIMS have the tendency to start frothing at the mouth the moment Islam is attacked. instead of countering these attacks with “hujah bernas” and ” the beauty of islam” we tend to start calling for blood. the fact that most of the comments left on those blogs sounds like this does not help in anyway to VINDICATE islam as the RELIGION OF PEACE or REAL RELIGION

“hey kafir.. you wanna die. dont mess with malays and islam. i will kill you”
“fuck off you islam hater.. go die and we will hunt you”

most of the comments left sounded like that. This is true when I read adibah’s blog a few months back. So I ask you;

with comments like that.. what image are you giving to the blog owner and non Muslims?

Muslims are a bunch of mob baying for blood because of a few blog entries? Muslim are allowed to swear and cuss in the name of Islamic solidarity?

I am not a religious man but from my pemahaman agama darjah 3 I remember that swearing in any shape or form is not allowed. so why these crusaders of islam do swears and threatened the life of a blog owner.

surely the best course of action is to tarbiah this person in a calm and orderly manner. you know like a ustaz nik aziz. when people start slamming PAS and Hudud please observe his reaction and comments. he is calmer that a man who just swallowed a bottle of PROZAC. If you really want to comment on these blog please don’t leave hate comments. This wont help is lifting the stereotype that Muslims are violent and lunatics.

As for flagging blogs I disagree with this. The internet is a place for the freedom of speech. No “sekatan” should be allowed there. I want to share the Vatican’s failure to stop child sexual abuses by their catholic priests. I want to post message blasting JEWS and ZIONIST as the scums of the earth. I want to expose SCIENTOLOGY as an evil money grabbing quasi-religion that preys on people. I want to blast Najib Razak as an iron fisted Prime Minister elect. I want the world to know that the United States is a human right violator par excellence. I want to be free to express my views on these matters and more. I think you have your views that you want to share too.

So tell me.. how would you feel if the Scientologist, Jews, Zionist, American, Pro Najibs et al , all started FLAGGING your blog because they disagree with your views on them? They find your views as offensive to their “views”. This is what happened to Tun Dr Mahathir’s blog last year. Tun Mahathir (trust me I hate this guy) views was deemed offensive by the Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Rakyat supporters. They launched an online mass flagging campaign like the one you are initiating at the moment. As a result his BLOGGER account was banned and all his postings removed. Why? Because he disagree with Anwar’s view on what is Malaysia. In the aftermath of 3/8 people are more than happy to join the anti UMNO bandwagon and start flagging him for the LULZ. Is this right? To cause a ban on a blog because you disagree with his political views?

Would you be peeved and pissed if this happened to your own blog Khai? I am talking to you and your blog readers as a blogger myself. How would you feel?

Remember kids. Freedom of Speech swings both ways. You may not like it but that is the RULE of the internet. I can find numerous blogs glorifying suicide bombers and calling for the banishment of NON MALAYS from Tanah Melayu. YES there are plenty of PRO MALAY blogs out there that wanted the NON MALAYS to have second class status in Malaysia because god created them as non Malays. How fair is that? I don’t see you guys getting up in arms in this clear violation of Bangsa Malaysia ideals.

Last but not least;

Stop giving these stupid and useless website the attention that they really wanted. By highlighting these HATE SITES you are just giving them free publicity to spread their hate speech even more. Stop spreading the URL and pretty soon no one will read them. When no one reads that blog I am sure the blogger will quit soon after. What we have now is people giving him the attention and thus allowing him to TROLL you even more.

Just my 20 cents and longish comments. I haven’t been commenting in this blog for ages due to my own busy schedule

Oh and please reply back to my views in a calm and orderly manner yes. I mean YOU ARE MUSLIMS right? And Muslims are nice people who love peace and harmony. Proof it to the world that US Muslims are good people. Not like them wacky Talibans , Jew Zionist or Christian American Troops who kills people for fun.
